The Mission of Marcus Smart's YounGameChanger Foundation is to serve as a source of guidance, motivation, encouragement and empowerment for inner-city student-athletes to be GameChangers on and off the court or field. To create opportunities through education, sports and mentorships with a special emphasis on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) experiences. To provide inspiration and life-changing experiences to pediatric cancer patients and their families.
Smart's charitable Foundation has partnered with his YGC Summer Hoops Events to provide, at no cost to kids, a hoops filled day of basketball learning with professional coaches. This opportunity is currently available to U.S. Army families at Fort Cavazos TX and Fort Campbell KY with events this June 2024 at both military bases. With Yoga with Hania, we are providing an adult health and well-being session while the kids are in YGC Hoops camp. If your son/daughter is involved in the hoops camp, this is a great opportunity to "get away" and spend some much needed time on yourself. Or if you do not have any kids in the hoops camp, you're just as welcome.
